AMF is a manufacturer of high-performance suspended ceiling systems & acoustic wall panels for the South African and worldwide market.

Most AMF manufactured tiles are made from mineral fibre which constitutes a mixture of materials, from naturally occurring resources to recycled and processed materials. Many mineral fibre ceiling systems boast excellent qualities including acoustic performance and fire resistance.

AMF has its head office and manufacturing plant in Germany with another factory located in Austria. AMF Ceilings now form part of the Knauf group of companies.

Steps to Identify

AMF manufactured tiles will often have ‘AMF’ and ‘Made in Germany’ printed on the reverse of the tile. They will also usually have a ‘CE’ number which only relates to a standard as opposed to anything unique about the tile.
